What a day

What a day for my day off...

Started off by waking up at 8:30am and went out around 9am to 'search' for the car depot until 9:15am because I couldn't remember where was it located~X_X"

Well waking up so early and going to such a place was because Pastor Bit Phin (BP), me & Jai Hui were going to visit Shittim Camp which our youth'll going there for activities on 30/11/10 (Tues)

By the way, did I mention that I changed my office's chair? I think I haven't~XD

It's not messy but 'packed'~XD

Jai Hui's a funny girl and 3 of us had some funny conversations in the car but I won't go into details about it here

So anyway, it was about a 45 minutes drive from my house area to Shittim Camp at Tamparuli

Reached Shittim Camp

Chili anyone?

Cute~XD

Walking on drawbridge

The camp site's very well done with lots of 'upgrades' and I personally like the 'pool' they made~XD

Filling up 'pool' (takes about 24 hours to do so)

We'll be 'swimming' in it

Last time when we visited there were 2 horses there and when pastor asked where were they, I heard the owner said it was 'cooked' or something (3 of us were a bit surprised) but actually he said they're sent to horse racing already (I didn't know I heard wrong until we left the place and talked about it in the car)

On the way back we stopped by to have some delicious buns which only can be found in Menggatal

Delicious~

After our short meal, I talked about people saying me and Danny look alike and pastor was like "where got oh?" and she said another shocking thing - "Beatrice looks more like you" and I was like "wha...?"

Alike? I don't think so...

Pastor BP's explanation was we've 'similar' nose and 'hair type' (not straight) and she goes on saying about trying to say in front of people that Beatrice's my sis and see the outcome but I don't really buy it so...yeah..

After that we headed to Bible League to do some shopping and it wasn't easy to find that place because there was no sign board or whatsoever and later we found out that they just moved in to the new place so...yeah...

Their 'sign board' on a wall of the staircase

Bible League International

The things sold here're very low in price because their purpose of selling these Bibles, tracts, etc, are for ministry purpose (can you imagine NIV Bible + 3 small booklets for RM7?)

I went to have chicken rice with mum at a place where pastor mentioned people saying it's quite good and we went to test it out

At first I wanted to bring my camera down for blogging but then I thought "there should be nothing special to blog about there" and lo and behold...

Chicken rice anyone?

I had to use my phone to take this down (note to self: don't underestimate things)

Alpha Holy Spirit Weekend starts tonight and will continue again tomorrow morning until noon (there goes half of my holiday) but I'll be going badminton with a few brothers after that~yeah~XD

Thank You Lord for the full day of excitement and joy, really brought a smile to my heart. Pray for Rev. AK's health, continue to heal him and anoint him as he gives the talk tomorrow during Holy Spirit Weekend. Pray for Bible League International's ministry that their work'll not be in vain. Pray also for those who're helping in the transport tomorrow, let them serve with a heart full of joy and bless Carmen Lim's Full Moon celebration that everyone'll rejoice in it. Lord bless tomorrow our time of fellowship on the badminton court. Pray also for my future partner, no matter what she's doing, thinking and planning to do now, Lord bless her and prepare her as well as prepare me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Good Job and Good Bye of Kim Jong-hyun

The recent passing of Kim Jong-Hyun on 18 December 2017, a 27-year-old lead singer of the massively popular K-pop boy band SHINee, shocked the world as much as his worldwide fans.  Jonghyun was the best artist who loved music more than anyone and gave his all on the stage ...I t is heartbreaking to deliver such sad news to the fans who loved him. His "suicide note" (unofficial English translation) can be found online, which seems to express the struggle and sufferings were beyond his limits, hence he decided to end his life. However, discussion about the "suicide note" was ongoing and one of the comments said... As outsiders, we will never know what happened in this man's life. We only saw what he and the SM wanted us to see. At the end of the day, we didn't know Jonghyun nor his suffering. I think that is the worst part. We can be a fans but we shouldn't delude ourselves into thinking we know that person and their life. Other than feeling of ...

Delight~

I think it's my first time going to such a concert outside of church and it was really an eye-opener Normally I wouldn't wanna participate in these kind of things but for the sake of blogging (partly) I went to enjoy the show and indeed, I enjoyed it! Music Across Borders Held at Dewan Canselor, UMS The hall The hall was actually quite huge and I like the spotlights throughout the whole performance The guys  The ladies Funny sisters See? They started off with a local team of youth choir and then followed by Europe team (I was thinking very hard to figure what their performance was trying to tell us) Local youth choir Team from Europe Hmm... No idea... Yeah... I've used my phone to record some of the performance but I actually used up too much battery on the first part because I didn't know there was a second part (Malaysia Operafest Children's Choir) Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Take some time to watch the videos (though not ...

New~

Hey~hey~hey~guess what~I've got a new racket~yeah~^O^ Black & White~(don't know why the photo's rotated) Well I won't abandon the old one but it can rest now until such time when the new one can't take it anymore then It'll have to come out from its rest once more~XD Well nothing much for today but yesterday I was in a sense 'forced' to blog so here it is~ Before service started, I told myself "I won't go yamcha tonight" but in the end...still ended up in Kopi Ping~X_X" Well we had a great time of fellowship but just when we wanted to leave, uncle Allan came with 2 glasses of drink with red bean inside (I guess it's gonna be in the menu soon) '初恋红豆冰' & Jai Hui Well the reason I took the photo of Jai Hui and the drink it's because she named it '初恋红豆冰' and uncle Allan quite liked it I guess So when you go Kopi Ping at Damai next time and you see 初恋红豆冰 then you know who named it~XD ...
