Christmas~

Yup...it's the time of the year again~

This time it's not just to give, but to give more!

After the shoe box project, all the busyness starts in one go - caroling, youth Christmas, children Christmas, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day until Thanksgiving

After first day of caroling

Enjoying yam cha

This year it's really packed especially for the youths because most of them're involved in lots of presentations and stuffs

Christmas means lots of decorations need to be done and so the whole staff team (even the clergies and pastors) involved in this work

Some of us worked down in Kota Kinabalu while some of us worked up in KoKol (both KK~XD)

Good Sam team

The first chair that I started with

Big spider

200 chairs done

...?

Relaxnya~

Something happened on the second day of caroling...

Note to self: stay away from rubbish trucks

The devotion for that day was about giving thanks in every circumstances so I guess this is a good chance to 'live it out'

After that, on the 15 (today) it's Gaya Street caroling for our ASC Chinese Youth

Gaya Street crowded

Chocolate and vanilla?

CG member and family selling their specialties

Edwin's group selling some kind of bun (the chicken one's really good, RM3:50 - worth it)

ASC Chinese Youth caroling team

Now that the caroling's over for us, 1 thing's checked on the list and there're 5-7 more to go

It literally rained cats and dogs around 4pm today and I think if it didn't do so, we would be suffering a lot at Gaya Street

The rained stopped completely just before we left for Gaya Street so we believe that the Lord has His timing and at night the sky was filled with stars (rarely seen in KK) and someone was really glad to see so many stars on the sky:-)

Some lightings done on the trees

The pavilion really gave me a surprise

Lord we thank You for Your good timing and protection. We pray for the seeds that're sown as we go for caroling in homes and on the streets. Pray that Your Gospel'll touch their lives and may they truly understand the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ. Pray for the upcoming events - children, youth, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, etc. Pray also for Pastor Maggie who's suffering from food poisoning. Pray that You'll cleanse her thoroughly. I pray also for my future partner that Lord You'll continue to guide her and not only her, but both of us to walk in Your light. Thank You Lord, in the name of Jesus, amen.

Blessed Day Off

2012 11 08 Had an enjoyable day off with my 'daughters' - Yi Ping and Kai Shwen today Had the chance to revisit SM Shan Tao (my secondary school) Memories~ Went there to fetch one of my daughters Yi Ping from SMST at 12:30pm and went to Suria Sabah for movie - My Dog Dou Dou Before movie of course we went to Starbucks to wait for the movie to start at 2:35pm (Kai Shwen's idea this time, not mine) KK is such a 'small' town (met Rachel Wong and Emily here) So far the best place to study and relax My daughters and my Starbucks phone - Yi Ping (left) and Kai Shwen (right) (Would be much better if they smiled with their teeth) My Dog Dou Dou Some parts of the movie are great for illustrations and below are some of them: Man's love is conditional. Ah Ming (the father) who treated the dog (Dou Dou) badly & thought of it as a nuisance became to love it the moment he knew it could predict 4D lottery numbers...

New~

Hey~hey~hey~guess what~I've got a new racket~yeah~^O^ Black & White~(don't know why the photo's rotated) Well I won't abandon the old one but it can rest now until such time when the new one can't take it anymore then It'll have to come out from its rest once more~XD Well nothing much for today but yesterday I was in a sense 'forced' to blog so here it is~ Before service started, I told myself "I won't go yamcha tonight" but in the end...still ended up in Kopi Ping~X_X" Well we had a great time of fellowship but just when we wanted to leave, uncle Allan came with 2 glasses of drink with red bean inside (I guess it's gonna be in the menu soon) '初恋红豆冰' & Jai Hui Well the reason I took the photo of Jai Hui and the drink it's because she named it '初恋红豆冰' and uncle Allan quite liked it I guess So when you go Kopi Ping at Damai next time and you see 初恋红豆冰 then you know who named it~XD ...

Fellowship

2012 08 28 Today we had a farewell dinner for Jai Voon who'll be going Penang soon. I've realized how much I love to welcome people to my house for gatherings. I've also realized how much their presence at my house brought tremendous joy to my heart that I wished it'll stay that way or at least for a bit longer. As they were leaving, I was sitting there and thinking 'How great'll be if this gathering'll keep going on' but thanks be to God that someday I'll be able to live forever in the presence of God along with other redeemed people of the Lord. Prayer of blessing for Jai Voon “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 NIV) Lord I thank You for You've created us to have fellowship with You as well as with one another. I pray that our fellowship'll be stronger everyday and when we gather, people will see and know we're Your disciples. Bless Jai Voon...
