Fellowship

 Today we had a farewell dinner for Jai Voon who'll be going Penang soon.

 I've realized how much I love to welcome people to my house for gatherings.

 I've also realized how much their presence at my house brought tremendous joy to my heart that I wished it'll stay that way or at least for a bit longer.

 As they were leaving, I was sitting there and thinking 'How great'll be if this gathering'll keep going on' but thanks be to God that someday I'll be able to live forever in the presence of God along with other redeemed people of the Lord.

Prayer of blessing for Jai Voon

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 NIV)


Lord I thank You for You've created us to have fellowship with You as well as with one another. I pray that our fellowship'll be stronger everyday and when we gather, people will see and know we're Your disciples. Bless Jai Voon as she goes for her studies. Let her be light and salt for You in her new mission field, extend her territory and protect her from harm. I pray for Your presence to be with all our youths so that they'll honour God in their thoughts, words and deeds and bring glory to Your Name. In Jesus' name, amen.

2012 11 08 Had an enjoyable day off with my 'daughters' - Yi Ping and Kai Shwen today Had the chance to revisit SM Shan Tao (my secondary school) Memories~ Went there to fetch one of my daughters Yi Ping from SMST at 12:30pm and went to Suria Sabah for movie - My Dog Dou Dou Before movie of course we went to Starbucks to wait for the movie to start at 2:35pm (Kai Shwen's idea this time, not mine) KK is such a 'small' town (met Rachel Wong and Emily here) So far the best place to study and relax My daughters and my Starbucks phone - Yi Ping (left) and Kai Shwen (right) (Would be much better if they smiled with their teeth) My Dog Dou Dou Some parts of the movie are great for illustrations and below are some of them: Man's love is conditional. The Good Job and Good Bye of Kim Jong-hyun

The recent passing of Kim Jong-Hyun on 18 December 2017, a 27-year-old lead singer of the massively popular K-pop boy band SHINee, shocked the world as much as his worldwide fans.  Jonghyun was the best artist who loved music more than anyone and gave his all on the stage ...I t is heartbreaking to deliver such sad news to the fans who loved him. His "suicide note" (unofficial English translation) can be found online, which seems to express the struggle and sufferings were beyond his limits, hence he decided to end his life. However, discussion about the "suicide note" was ongoing and one of the comments said... As outsiders, we will never know what happened in this man's life. We only saw what he and the SM wanted us to see. At the end of the day, we didn't know Jonghyun nor his suffering. I think that is the worst part. February really was a month of blessings for me:-) Lots of blessing came in - the blessing of cash, new laptop, phone and of course, more work~XD Before getting into that I had a chance to go back my secondary school - SM Shan Tao (SMST) to have a 'tour' Really brings back memories as I walk around the school Even now I feel the warmth of the time we had in secondary school Chinese Canteen Malay Canteen Malay Canteen Fish Pond (with fish this time~XD) Upgraded Recycle Room Behind Dewan (a little bit tidier than before) Hmm...?
